Ali has well over a decade of experience with advisory and transactions within the corporate and commercial, mergers and acquisitions, investment funds, as well as the banking and finance space. Prior to joining the firm, Ali was a senior associate with large local and international law firms with presence across the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and East Africa. He has regularly advised local and international conglomerates, financial institutions and high net worth individuals in connection with local and cross border transactions, including those involving jurisdictions such as the United Arab Emirates, England, Saudi Arabia, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Pakistan, India, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Malawi.
